The Colt Python is chambered in .357 Magnum, but it can safely and effectively accommodate 38 Special cartridges. The Python has a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel and a walnut grip that features the Colt emblem. Its overall length is 9.75 inches and the firearm weighs 42 oz. With 6-round capacity, the Colt Python maintains many of the design aspects from its predecessors, while being updated to meet the needs of today’s modern shooters and sportsmen.
